WHITE BIRCH POLO TEAM
In 1979, Peter Brant founded the White Birch Polo Team, one of the most successful polo teams in history, which soon earned a reputation as a formidable opponent. The White Birch polo team has gained a global reputation for the strength of its organization and distinguished record of successful matches. By the time White Birch won its first U.S. Polo Championship in 2005, the team had already amassed an impressive record. To date, White Birch has won 31 championships and tournaments at the 26-goal level or above. Mr. Brant’s own performance on the team led to his becoming one of the top-ranked amateur polo players in the world. In the ten years between 1979 and 1989, he rose to a 7-goal handicap—at the time the highest in the world of amateur polo.
White Birch won all three 26 goal tournaments during the 2005 season in Palm Beach. In the 1990’s White Birch dominated every major tournament at Palm Beach Polo Club in Florida. The White Birch Polo Team has won more high goal polo tournaments than any other single team in the past 25 years.
