Pre-game ritual: None.
You travel around the world for polo. Which destination has been your favorite? El Monte in Pilar, Argentina.
Favorite part of playing polo: Celebrating after a win!
Favorite local hang-out when playing at Greenwich Polo Club: Barcelona.
Favorite thing to do when not on the field: Any kind of sports – fishing, golf or soccer.
Favorite song: “Jammin’” by Bob Marley.
If I weren’t a polo player I would be: A polo horse? I think they have a better life than we do!
Favorite all-time horse and why? Machitos Jazz – she was one of the best horses I ever played. I bred her at Los Machitos and she was part of my string when I was named Best Mounted player in 2005 and 2007 in Argentina, she won Best Playing Pony at the Hurlingham Open in 2004 and many other awards.
